XML is stand for Extensible Markup Language.It is designed to describe data and focus what data is and is a markup language much like HTML.In XML,the tags are not predefined
and it uses a DTD or an XML schema to describe the data and with a DTD or XML Schema is designed to self-descriptive.

WHAT IS MICROSOFT EXCEL?

Microsoft Excel (full name Microsoft Office Excel) is a spreadshet application written and distributed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.It features calculation, graphing tools,pivot table and a macro programming language called VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). It has been a very widely applied spreadsheet for these platforms, especially since version 5 in 1993. Excel forms part of Microsoft Office.The current versions are Microsoft Office Excel 2010 for Windows and 2008 for Mac.

THE CHEMSKECTH

WHAT IS CHEMSKETCH?

ChemSketch, freeware from ACD Labs, is a chemical structure drawing
program. Two-dimensional chemical structures are the common
representation in textbooks and other print materials in chemistry, biology, and
the health sciences. They display the interconnectivity of atoms in the structure.
Knowing how to draw structures is required to understand them and helpful as they
are converted into three-dimensional structures. Forming three-dimensional mental image from a two-dimensional drawing is an advantage for scientists. WHAT IS PROTEIN DATA BANK?

The Protein Data Bank (PDB) archive is the single worldwide repository of information about the 3D structures of large biological molecules, including proteins and nucleic acids. These are the molecules of life that are found in all organisms including bacteria, yeast, plants, flies, other animals, and humans. Understanding the shape of a molecule helps to understand how it works. This knowledge can be used to help deduce a structure's role in human health and disease, and in drug development. The structures in the archive range from tiny proteins and bits of DNA to complex molecular machines like the ribosome. The PDB archive is available at no cost to users. The PDB archive is updated each week at the target time of Wednesday 00:00 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

The most recent release is timestamped and linked on every page in the top right header.
The PDB was established in 1971 at Brookhaven National Laboratory and originally contained 7 structures. In 1998, the Research Collaboratory for Structural Bioinformatics (RCSB) became responsible for the management of the PDB. In 2003, the wwPDBwas formed to maintain a single PDB archive of macromolecular structural data that is freely and publicly available to the global community. It consists of organizations that act as deposition, data processing and distribution centers for PDB data.In addition, the RCSB PDB supports a website where visitors can perform simple and complex queries on the data, analyze, and visualize the results.

There software that I used to explain the structure of molecules is Rasmol which is a computer program written for molecular graphics visualization intended and used primarily for the depiction and exploration of biological macromolecule structures. It was originally developed by Roger Sayle in the early 90s.Among the functions of this software are:

1) You can make publication-quality molecular graphics without tears, including rotating

images for Powerpoint slides using Polyview-3D.
2) Any molecule can be explored easily. Get detailed views of noncovalent interactions in a few

clicks, with FirstGlance in Jmol.
3) Molecules can be colored by evolutionary conservation automatically with the ConSurf

Server.
4) Everything works from menus, buttons, and forms. (You won't need to learn any "script

command language".)
5) Help is displayed automatically, with color keys, tooltips, etc.
6) There is nothing to install (except maybe java) and everything works on Windows, Mac OS X,

and linux.

Assalamualaikum....

During last seven week,I have learned Maple programming with funny and kind lecturer,Dr.Salihi bin Abdul Hadi and the code was KOS 1110.There were many things that i have learned from this course which are really important to me as a biotechnology's student because it were really help me to do the research in the future.For the first week I learned about the Basic Operations on Numbers, Expressions and Functions.All this basic arithmetic operations were performed in the natural way with Maple which gives an exact answer and reduces fractions.On the second week,we have learned about Graphing Functions, Expressions, and Equations.On the third weekend we learned about data types and for three others weekend,we have learned about the complicated Maple programming but actually i really enjoyed this class because Dr.Salihi always help us...I hope i can perform very well in this exam for this course.There is a picture of our gentleman lecturer.There are many resources that we can find for Maple tutorial and exercise.

Gagal Sebagai Bekalan

Manusia dijadikan dengan fitrah yang menginginkan keamanan dan kesejahteraan didalam hidup.
